We have been very successful because of the support we receive from individuals and businesses. Some of the charities and projects we have been able to support as a result of this include:
· Holiday gifts for needy children
· Sewing “pillowcase dresses” for orphans
· Scholarships for graduating high school seniors
· Support of the children’s reading clubs at the Whittier Public Libraries
· Projects to support our active Military personnel and Veterans
· Providing food for families served by the Interfaith Food Center
· Support of our local Domestic Violence Shelter
· Supplying items needed at animal shelters and sanctuaries
· Providing funds for Smile Train & Operation Smile-cleft lip/palate surgery organizations
· Tray favors for Meals on Wheels
· Provide greeting cards for birthdays/holidays for Senior Living Centers

Support Our Community Initiatives
Your contributions of new items for our annual silent auction in November will help us raise funds for our projects. We will also gladly accept gift cards for our “Gift Tree Raffle” and monetary donations for the many needs that arise. You can donate via Venmo @whittierwomensclub. We also hold two boutiques – one in the Spring and one in the Fall where we have 40+ vendors and lots of opportunity baskets!!
